Introduction

Kinetic Origin LLC ("we," "our," or "us") develops and publishes apps and games for iOS, Android, and Windows (collectively, "our Apps"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use any of our Apps, including Vibe Weather, Bramble, Anagram Sprint, Letter Budget, WikiVibe, Drone Dispatch, and any other apps we publish.

By using our Apps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Location Data (Vibe Weather only)

With your permission, Vibe Weather accesses your device's location to provide accurate weather forecasts for your area. Location data is:

• Only accessed when you grant permission
• Used solely to fetch weather data for your location
• Not stored on our servers
• Not shared with third parties for marketing purposes

App Preferences and Local Data

Our Apps store preferences and app data locally on your device, such as:

• Settings and theme preferences
• Game progress, scores, and statistics
• Reading history, search history, and bookmarks
• Premium or ad-free purchase status

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Conversation Data (Bramble only)

Bramble is an AI companion app that generates conversational responses using third-party AI language models. Bramble handles conversation data as follows:

• Your messages are sent to our server for processing during a conversation, but are not stored on our servers after the response is generated. Your full conversation history is stored only on your device
• A profile summary is generated periodically to help Bramble remember context between sessions. This summary is stored locally on your device and is not retained on our servers
• An anonymous device identifier (a randomly generated UUID) is used to enforce daily message limits and track your premium status. This identifier cannot be linked to your identity
• Daily message counts are stored on our server to enforce usage limits. These are linked to your anonymous device identifier, not to any personal information

Reported Responses (Bramble only)

When you report a Bramble response using the in-app flag icon, the following is stored on our server:

• The AI-generated response text you reported (Bramble's words, not yours)
• The category you selected (Inappropriate, Unhelpful, or Concerning)
• Your anonymous device identifier
• Whether you have opted in to the "Help Improve Bramble" setting

If you enable the "Help Improve Bramble" toggle in Settings, your reported responses are marked as available for review by Kinetic Origin to improve safety and quality. This setting is off by default and can be changed at any time. Regardless of this setting, your own messages are never included in reports.

Crisis Event Logging (Bramble only)

Bramble includes automated safety features that detect keywords indicating potential crisis situations. When triggered, a minimal log entry is created on our server containing only:

• Your anonymous device identifier
• A timestamp
• The type of safety trigger (e.g., "crisis keyword detected")

The content of your message is not included in crisis logs. These logs are used solely to monitor the effectiveness of our safety systems and are not shared with third parties.

Speech-to-Text (Bramble only)

Bramble offers an optional voice input feature that uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Audio is processed locally by your device's operating system (Apple Speech or Google Speech Services) and is not sent to Kinetic Origin servers. Only the resulting text transcription is used within the app.

Purchase Information

If you make an in-app purchase (such as removing ads or upgrading to a premium version), the transaction is processed entirely by the respective app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store). We do not collect or store your payment information. We only receive confirmation of your purchase status from the store.

Advertising

Some of our Apps display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad-supported Apps include Anagram Sprint and Letter Budget. Other Apps, such as Vibe Weather and WikiVibe, do not contain ads.

Google AdMob may collect certain information for ad delivery and measurement purposes, including:

• Device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• General device information (device model, OS version)

This data is collected and processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over the data Google collects through AdMob.

You can remove ads from ad-supported Apps with a one-time in-app purchase, which stops all banner and interstitial ad requests. Optional rewarded video ads (such as watching a video to reveal game answers) remain available even after purchasing the ad-free upgrade, but are never shown unless you choose to watch them.

Third-Party Services

Weather Data Provider (Vibe Weather only)

Vibe Weather uses a third-party weather API to fetch current conditions and forecasts. Your approximate location (latitude and longitude) is sent to this service to retrieve weather data. No personally identifiable information is shared.

AI Language Model (Vibe Weather only)

Vibe Weather uses an AI service to generate personalized weather descriptions. Only weather data and your selected personality preference are sent to this service. No personal information or location data is shared with the AI provider.

AI Language Model (Bramble only)

Bramble uses a third-party AI service to generate conversational responses. Your messages and a locally stored profile summary are sent to this service during a conversation to generate replies. No personally identifiable information is shared with the AI provider. The AI provider processes your messages to generate a response and does not retain them for training purposes.

Text-to-Speech Model (Bramble only)

Bramble offers an optional feature to hear responses spoken aloud. The text-to-speech model runs entirely on your device after a one-time download. No audio or text data is sent to external servers for this feature.

Wikipedia API (WikiVibe only)

WikiVibe fetches article content from the Wikimedia REST API. Only the article title or search query is sent. No personal information, device identifiers, or usage data is transmitted.

App Stores

Purchases are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store depending on your platform. These services have their own privacy policies.

Data Storage and Security

For most of our Apps, all user preferences, game data, and settings are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by your operating system. We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on external servers.

Bramble stores limited data on our servers as described above: anonymous device identifiers, daily message counts, reported AI responses (if you choose to report them), and minimal crisis event logs. Conversation content and profile summaries are stored only on your device. All server-side data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure and is associated with an anonymous device identifier, not with any personal information. Bramble's device identifier is stored in your device's secure keychain/keystore and persists across reinstalls to prevent abuse of daily message limits.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Deny any permissions requested by our Apps (such as location access)
• Delete all local app data by uninstalling the application
• Opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings
• Remove ads with an in-app purchase in ad-supported Apps
• Request information about what data we process
• Request deletion of server-side data associated with your anonymous device identifier (Bramble) by contacting us at privacy@kineticorigin.com

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
